This permanent luxury tented camp, perched on the side of a mountain in the Bwindi Forest, offers eight large tents with private bathrooms, hot and cold running water, electricity and sweeping views of the surrounding forest. The bathtubs overlook the forest canopy and many travelers rate this camp high on places to stay while trekking for mountain gorillas. The Gorilla Forest Camp also offers a bar, dining cottage and open air dining platform, while blending in with the natural surroundings.
