Lake Manyara, TanzaniaLocated on the Western edge of the Rift Valley, the Lake Manyara Lodge provides sweeping views of the valley and with 100 guest rooms, can accommodate large groups or the lonely traveler. Rooms have en-suite bathrooms and mosquito netting over the beds. Safari goers remark that although the lodge is adequate and clean, it isn't one of the most memorable lodges in Tanzania. The owners of the lodge were hoping to begin renovations, which may spruce up the older building. The location and vistas from the lodge are fantastic and the pool is a favorite after a long day of game viewing.
