Opened in 1937 and built in traditional colonial architecture, the Lake Naivasha Country Club provides accommodation in rooms and cottages across 55 acres of well manicured lawns and gardens. The club affords great views across Lake Naivasha, and of Mount Longonot, a 9,111 foot partly extinct volcano whichwas declared a Kenya national park in 1983. Lake Naivasha Country Club hsa a pool, pool bar, bar and restaurant that accommodates up to 100 people. Activities center around Lake Naivasha and include fishing for Talapia and Black Bass. 15 minutes by boat takes you to Crescent Island, which is a private game sanctuary and without any predators, one can walk with the game.
