The hotel was recently renovated and the rooms are apportioned with satellite/plasma television and en-suite bathrooms. The Mount Kenya Safari Club offers numerous activites including hortseback riding, golf, and table tennis. An animal orphanage on the grounds provides visitors with the chance to interact with rescued animals, and one can expect to find ostriches, tortoises and monkeys. Wild game viewing is available at Sweetwaters Private Reserve or the Aberdare National Park.
