Queen Elizabeth, UgandaMweya Safari Lodge lies in the heart of the spectacular Queen Elizabeth National Park on a peninsula overlooking the Kazinga Channel and Lake Edward. The camp offers game drives, and west of the camp lie the Rwenzori Mountains, described as the Mountains of the moon, which contain the third highest peak in Africa and a number of glaciers. Visitors note that while the lodge hasn't been updated recently and isn't as luxurious as other camps in Eastern Africa, it is well run and the location is great.
